Description: Having still a very low maturity of the design practice in most Mexican companies, the designer remains with the task of coping with the work around different levels of sophistication and internal relevance in the companies without questioning what their effort means. The lack of a management model that makes it possible to differentiate work at an operational level from that at a strategic level means that efforts do not add up to increasing the design maturity of the company and stakeholders do not understand the impact of design. Even running metrics on a design team that does not distinguish these levels results in a dispersed team and unable to demonstrate its value beyond visual design. The talk presents a clear model, generated by the speaker, to address levels from operational to strategic.
